(Mother’s Goulash Recipe)
Paul’s One Pot Dinner
Use a 12" Dutch Oven or Larger
12" Oven use 10 briquets on bottom, 14 on top and maintain for 45 min.
Ingredients:
1. 1 /2 pound chopped bacon browned
2. one pound hamburger meat scattered
3. 1 /2 pound sausage (your choice) scattered
4. one can cream style corn
5. 3- 4 potatoes finely sliced
6. 3- 4 carrots finely sliced
7. one whole onion finely sliced
8. 1 med. bell pepper finely sliced
9. One can lima beans
10. 1/8 tsp black pepper
11. Pinch of salt
Cooking Directions:
Lightly grease bottom of oven
Place ½ pound of bacon on bottom to brown w/onions & bell pepper
Add a layer of each potatoes, carrots, onions finely sliced
Separate & add hamburger meat layer
Season with salt & pepper to taste
Add another layer of onions, carrots, potatoes finely sliced
Add sausage on top of vegetables scattered
Add bell pepper to taste
Cook for 45 minutes to hour and serve
Optional: Make a floured crust and pour meal over the crust.
