| 1 3/4 cup milk
1 cup mayonnaise
4 cups self rising flour
1 tbsp butterwhisk together milk and mayonnaise until smooth. stir mixture into flour just until blended. kead 3 or 4 times on a floured surface. roll into a 1/2 to 3/4 inch dough and cut to desired size. Butter and pre heata 12" Dutch oven for 3 minutes place biscuits in the oven touching. bake at 425º for 25 to 30 min or until lightly brown.
12' oven use 21 coals on top and 10 on bottom |
