On the membership application there is a brief survey and I thought I would share some of the results with you.

On the question of how long have you been Dutch oven cooking, the answers ran from just months to Don Maloney's over 50 years.

The number of ovens varied from a couple to over 40.  it seems like most of us cook at least once a month with some as often as 3 times a week.

About half has cooked in a cookoff.  The favorite size oven is the 12" by a long ways.  Some members have at least a couple of brands of oven to use and the oddest thing cooked in a dutch oven was rattlesnake.  One member has cooked monkey bread for 500 kids at one time before. 

We are working on a DOG back in Devils Den in the spring.  i have a comittment from a member to host it and they are working out the details now.  we will post them as soon as they are completed and We will also do a mailing to make sure everyone knows about it.
